Violence: Characters argue briefly. Some are subjected to racial discrimination. Hecklers yell at players from the stands. A boy’s death is repeatedly discussed. A child overhears his father’s disparaging remarks about him. A boy reveals a bloody injury on his foot. Characters set off firecrackers, throw rocks at windows and cause other disturbances in the streets.

Sexual Content: A couple kisses. A man gets relationship advice and help from an adolescent boy.

Language: The script includes name-calling, some racial slurs and some mild slang.

Alcohol / Drug Use: At least two characters drink to deal with disappointments. They are both depicted as being inebriated at different times.
