Live and Become

When the Israeli government sends a convoy into the Sudan dessert to bring back their Ethiopian bothers, the invitation is extended only to those of the Jewish faith. Unfortunately, Schlomo (Moshe Agazai) and his mom (Meskie Shibru Sivan) are Christians. Realizing this rescue mission is the only hope of escape from the deplorable refugee camp, the desperate mother lies about their religion and send her son anyway, praying he will be given a chance to Live and Become.
