In the film, Henry tells Alec about one of history’s top jockeys, George Woolf. George is also portrayed in the Oscar-nominated Seabiscuit, another horse racing legend. A young girl who loves wild geese is the main character in the film Fly Away Home, which was also directed by Carroll Ballard. Actor Mickey Rooney has starred in nearly 200 movies during his lengthy career. He once again works with animals in the film, Babe: Pig in the City.
