Star Wars Re-releases The Complete Saga
Coming to a galaxy near you…
On October 13, 2015,Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Blu-ray) is re-releasing to home video.
As far as I can tell, this is a reissue of the September 2011 package, featuring Episodes I through VI (except for the box design).
(Rumors of a version that will present the saga the way it originally appeared in theaters—without George Lucas’s later tinkering—appear to still be just that— rumors.)
So if you missed out on the last opportunity to buy this franchise, here is your chance. And you can reacquaint yourself with the key characters and plot points before a new trilogy hits theaters, starting in December 2015.
Here is more information on what is included in the Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Blu-ray):
Blu-ray copies of:
Star War Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) Blu-ray
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) Blu-ray
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) Blu-ray
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) Blu-ray
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) Blu-ray
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) Blu-ray
Plus three more discs offering 30 hours of special features.
OR—if you aren’t quite sure you want to buy the whole collection, just wait until November 10, 2015—the date announced for the separate release of each of the aforementioned six Star Wars titles –in Steelbook (meaning packaged in a metal case).
Anyway you look at it, there are lots of ways to make a donation the Star Wars universe right now! And of course the future holds even more marketing potential with these announced titles:
