Female Cast Takes Over in New Ghostbuster Reboot
Harrison Ford isn’t the only Hollywood icon being replaced in the remake of a franchise. Director Paul Feig recently announced the new female cast who have signed on for the remake of the 1984 movie Ghostbusters.
Taking over the roles previously played by Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson are Melissa McCarthy (St. Vincent, Tammy, The Heat), Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Leslie Jones (House Arrest) and Kate McKinnon (Toy Story of Terror, Life Partners).
