However just as he is about to tell his family about Marie, his brother introduces his girlfriend who happens to be the same woman. This movie explores the give and take of adult sibling relationships in the middle of a complicated situation.
In Her Shoes - Even as adults some of us can’t move away from our childhood roles in the family. Maggie is one of those who has seemingly refused to grow up and accept responsibility. Her older sister Rose has spent years hovering over her, stepping in to shield her younger sister from the harsher realities of life. But now she’s tired of bailing her sister out. But the girls both get a lesson in sisterly love when they end up at the home of their estranged grandmother. The adult story line and some content concerns make this film a more suitable choice for older audiences.
