| How We Determine Our Grades | |
After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
In perhaps the only family aspects of this film, actor Bill Murray included all of his brothers in the cast of this movie. The most notable of these appearances is John Murray who plays James, the on screen brother to Bill’s character.
Do you feel there is any significance to the choice of the main character’s religious name? Frances Xavier is the name of a Catholic saint (see http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintf07.htm) and Cross has reference to Jesus Christ (in one of the scenes shot in Franks office, the definition of the word “cross” as something one is “nailed to” is posted on a window.)

Donna Gustafson has been involved with her husband Rod's work since the
beginning. Handling many of the behind-the-scenes tasks, she also creates
preview pages for up-coming movies, acts as managing editor and occasionally writes reviews.
