Two more lighthearted films that incorporate many of the Grimms’ fairytales are Shrek and it’s sequel, Shrek 2. Of course, you may also enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Finally, these prolific brothers (okay, actors portraying them) make a brief appearance in the Cinderella adaptation, Ever After.

Once upon a time, Miramax Studios told the tale of The Brothers Grimm on DVD. Along with the story, their audience could listen to commentary by director Terry Gilliam, view deleted scenes (with optional commentary) or learn all about bringing the fairy tale to life and the visual magic of The Brothers Grimm. Now all the fans of their movie could live happily ever after by purchasing their very own copy. (P.S. Audio tracks are available in English and French, with subtitles in English and Spanish.)
