Just in time for musical lovers comes the DVD release of the Dean Martin/ Judy Holliday classic, Bells are Ringing. The disc features a short documentary about the 1960 movie, hosted by Hal Linden (best know for his TV role as Barney Miller). Here he reminisces about dancing with Judy Holliday in the Broadway version of this production, when he began his entertainment career as the understudy to the male lead. Other bonus materials include two musical numbers that were cut from the finished product (Is It a Crime? and My Guiding Star), an alternate take of The Midas Touch, and the theatrical trailer. Audio tracks are available in English (Dolby Digital 5.1) and French (Dolby Digital 1.0), with English, Spanish, and French subtitles.
