The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Is Set to Release This Friday

If you are a Hunger Games fan then you know it is only three more sleeps until The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 releases. This continuing saga follows Katniss Everdeen who has become a symbol of rebellion after her part in sabotaging the Capitol’s Hunger Games.

In retaliation, they destroyed District 12, her home. Initially reluctant to be a leader, she finally agrees to become Mockingjay, the face to front an outright attack on the President Snow and the others who control Panem.

However the China premiere, set to open on November 21) has been canceled. The China Times reports that the government media censors may consider the themes of revolution and rebellion to be too close to home with current political unrest in Hong Kong.
