New Trailer Releases for the Summer Movie Pixels

The world is under attack again. But this time it is a gigantic Pac-Man rolling through the streets and flattening everything in its path. And now you can see it all happen in the first trailer for the new movie Pixels.

Adam Sandler’s new Happy Madison production looks like a live action combination of The Lego Movie and Wreck-It Ralph. But in this movie Pac-Man, that dot munching arcade character, has gone to the dark side along with Donkey Kong and Alien Invaders.

In the story, Sandler plays Sam Brenner, a former video game champion from the ‘80s who now works as a home theater installer. When aliens begin attacking Earth using video game tactics to destroy Earth, Sam gets a call from his old childhood friend, U.S. President Will Cooper (Kevin James). Sam teams up with Lt. Col. Violent Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan) and a group of other old-school gamers (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad) to fight off the attackers using a unique set of weapons designed by the military.

The movie is set to release July 24, 2015.
