Kirsten Dunst isn’t shy about taking her clothes off in this royal tale. Backside and some veiled frontal nudity are seen on several occasions. While Marie Antoinette (played by Dunst) doesn’t enjoy the rigidity of the court, she likes the expense account and uses it to pay for lavish parties that include alcohol, recreational drugs and gambling. The excessive spending causes tensions among her impoverished subjects who revolt and attack the castle. The scripts also contains frequent sexual innuendo and some moments of peril for the royal family.
