Jurassic World Returns to IMAX for One Week Run

IMAX and Universal Pictures announced today the colossal movie hit Jurassic World will be back in domestic IMAX 3D theaters for a one-week return run. Beginning on August 28, moviegoers can revisit the dinosaur disaster film that has already grossed $116 million in IMAX ticket sales, making it the second highest-grossing film in IMAX history. The film currently has a worldwide gross of $1,581,872,505 in box office revenue.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan in the epic story of the massive scientifically conceived Indominus rex that escapes from its secure enclosure in a luxury resort off the coast of Costa Rica and begins to hunt down the island’s guests.
