Cinderella Still Belle of the Ball in Global Box Office

Dressed in a blue ball gown, Cinderella has swept past the $500 million threshold at the global box office. The movie opened domestically in March with $67.8 million debut and has since taken in nearly $195 million. It is currently the third highest grossing film of the year. On the international front it has grossed more than $308 million.

On April 25, the film had the biggest opening day and weekend of the year for a Western release in Japan and it remained in that position in its second weekend. The film also performed well in China bringing in $71 million.

The film stars Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter.
