Violence: There are pervasive scenes of bloody violence. There are frequent depictions of hand-to-hand combat and scenes of violence with firearms or bladed weapons, including bloody detail. People are tortured, with bloody detail. People are decapitated, dismembered, bisected, and disemboweled (with excessive anatomical detail). A person rips skin off her face while pulling away from a frozen metal door. A mob breaks into a store, crushing a man under a windowpane and killing another when a glass shard slits his throat. A woman is scalped when her hair is caught in the wheel of a shopping cart. A boy's hand is broken when someone steps on it. The body of an unconscious woman is prepared like a turkey with basting and seasonings - she is later stabbed with a pitchfork and put into an oven where she is cooked to death. A person is smashed in the head with a meat mallet. A man drains a dead girl's blood into a wine glass. A parade balloon is shot, which leads to an explosion and fire, which consumes a person. Teenage boys threaten to harm each other.
Sexual Content: A girl bounces on a trampoline: as she jumps, her skirt flips up, exposing her buttocks. A teen boy and girl are shown sleeping in bed together. There are scenes of teen and adult males and females kissing.
Profanity: There are over 180 instances of profanity, including nearly 100 sexual expletives, and a raft of scatological curses, terms of deity, crude anatomical terms, and minor profanities.
Drugs/Alcohol: People drink alcohol in a social context. A teenager is so drunk he vomits. Teens discuss selling liquor to underage buyers. An adult smokes a cigarette.
