Warner Brothers' Mowgli was perviously called Jungle Book (2018) and Jungle Book Origins. The movie is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic novel, The Jungle Book.

The story follows the life of a young child who is orphaned in the jungle, and is raised by wolves. (It is similar to the tale of Tarzan, who was raised by apes.) The boy learns the ways of his four-legged caregivers, as well as the laws that the rest of the animals live by.

The book has captured the imagination of other moviemakers, and has been adapted to the big screen several times.

Mowgli is directed by Andy Serkis and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Rohan Chand.
