Violence: An episode of domestic violence takes place off-screen; the victim is seen with injuries. There are frequent scenes of firearms violence, some of which are fatal and others involve visible wounds. People are viciously beaten and are seen with gruesome wounds, facial injuries, and plenty of blood. A person is strangled. A person vomits in a disturbing scene. There are scenes of transformations and nightmarish imagery with some detail.
Sexual Content: A lesbian relationship is central to the plot. There are multiple, graphic sex scenes both between women and between a man and a woman, which feature women’s breasts and backsides. There is graphic sexual discussion during a sexual encounter. Characters simulate masturbation. Women have orgasms on screen.
Profanity: There are over 90 profanities in the script including frequent sexual expletives, crude anatomical terms, sexual slurs, and scatological curses. A derogatory term for women is heard.
Drugs/Alcohol: A main character injects steroids, which trigger violent outbursts. A main character smokes cigarettes and marijuana. People drink alcohol on several occasions. A person takes pills for pain; it isn’t clear if they have been legally prescribed.
