Too Many Underage Facebook Users
Consumer Reports recent released the results of a survey that indicate of the 20 million minors who actively used Facebook this past year, more than one-third were younger than 13—the supposed minimum age one must be to use Facebook. Obviously there is a problem, both with the age verification process and parents’ understandings of the risks involved in having their young children involved in social networking.
