Home Video Releases for November 25

This week The Boxtrolls roll onto home video shelves. This story of a human boy raised by an underground group of box-wearing creatures is full of characters that are tough to warm up to. The characters are also often creepy and their conduct borders on inappropriate for the movie’s intended audience.

Older teens and young adults may enjoy the movie adaptation of Lois Lowery’s novel The Giver. After Jonas is chosen to receive all the collective memories of his utopian community, he begins to realize there is a darker side to the peaceful town where he lives.

What If (The F Word) asks the age-old question, Can men and women just be friends? As far as Chantry is concerned, it is possible. But as much as Wallace tries to play along, the truth is he has romantic feelings for the new girl.

Sylvester Stallone rounds up his old pals for yet another Expendables Adventure. In The Expendables 3, the team of retired operatives is forced back into action when an old nemesis—Conrad Stonebanks—returns looking for revenge. However to get the job done, the team has to bring on some younger members.

In The November Man, Peter Devereaux (played by Pierce Brosnan) has left the CIA, but the agency calls him back for one more job when a rouge operative resurfaces in this action packed film.
