I am a grandmother of an 8 year old boy with Autism. His mother encourages him to stay on his computer the whole time he is awake because that’s what she does. He has the standard charasterics of an autistic child. He goes to bed with his I pad, and has the TV on all night whild he is sleeping. This is extremely disfunctional. I am very leary of saying anything to my daughter in law because she is over the top most if the time and not in the best state of mind. She smokes in the house, knowing that when her son was a baby he had to use a nebulizer. It’s just a mess. Please advise. I sometimes want to go as far as applying for custody and all my friends and family advise me it’s not a good idea.
