This film combines characters from two previous films by M Night Shyamalan, "Unbreakable" and "Split". From "Unbreakable" come David Dunn, with his super strength and extrasensory gifts and Mr. Glass, a convicted killer possessed of superhuman intelligence. "Split" alumnus, Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man with 24 personalities, also returns in this movie. "Glass" is centered around Dunn's pursuit of Crumb's most dangerous personality, The Beast, a violent uncontrolled monster with a cannibalistic past.
