Heartland Announces Its Top 10 for 2013

Heartland Truly Moving Pictures has announced their top 10 movies for 2013. Each year the not-for profit organization gives their seal of approval to films that “inspire, educate and engage audiences”. The organization’s goal is to encourage filmmakers and audiences by acknowledging the transformative power of movies.

Their award, the Truly Moving Picture Award, is given to approximately 15-20 theatrically released movies each year in a variety of genres. Studios and film producers are able to submit their films for consideration.

Heartland honors films that promote positive change, are truthful, and embrace values such as integrity, tolerance, respect, heroism, compassion, courage and faith.
