Bette Midler Wants A Hocus Pocus Sequel

If a comeback is good enough for Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber To, then it is understandable that the ladies from Hocus Pocus should want a reunion as well. Two decades after the Disney movie about a trio of witches hit the big screen, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are stirring the pot on social media. They want Disney to give them a sequel and they are asking fans to help put the pressure on the studio to do it.

“Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company,” said Midler in a Reddit interview.

Although Midler’s career has included films like Parental Guidance, The Stepford Wives and The Women, she told E! News, “I actually think it is the best thing I ever did. I mean I’ve done a lot in my life. I’m very proud of certain roles that I’ve played.”
