Here is additional information on sex, violence and profanity in Triple Play 2001...

If all you’re after is some quick at bats, there are options which will accommodate without sacrificing any realism. In Single Game mode, opponents are selected from a pool of MLB and All-Star teams. Big League Challenge simulates the popular home run contest (including an interesting option that involves hitting targets). And if you’ve ever wondered how stars of yesteryear would match up against the power of today’s players, Home Run Legends will provide the answer. No matter which mode you choose, performing certain feats will unlock rewards such as bigger bats and hidden players, including the Babe himself (for the baseball purist, this cheat option can be toggled off).

The game isn’t perfect… sometimes the color commentary is out of context and there are a few graphics glitches, but, just like umpires, these can be forgiven. Triple Play 2001 should prove to be an enjoyable, realistic baseball experience… all you have to do is provide the hot dogs.
