Synopsis: Brewing political events in 1913 may predict an impending world war, but a schoolteacher (Christian Friede) in a rural Germany finds himself more concerned with the disturbing events occurring in his small village. Yet as he tries to understand what is happening, he is faced with a haunting question: Are the children the abused or the abusers?
