Synopsis: During the 1930s, John Dillinger (played by Johnny Depp) enjoyed the reputation of a hero, even though he was a villainous bank robber. Determined to stop Chicago’s growing crime rate, Pres J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup) formed the FBI, and sent his top agent, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), to capture the man he deemed one of the country’s worst Public Enemies.
