Synopsis:
An earthquake tremor does more than just shake up the bottom of Lake Victoria. It also releases a pack of prehistoric piranha intent on making up for their long famine. The local authorities (played by Elisabeth Shue and Ving Rhames) become aware of the hungry man-eaters about the same time as crowds of scantily-clad partiers hit the beaches to celebrate Spring Break.
Piranha 3-D is rated R: for sequences of strong bloody horror violence and gore, graphic nudity, sexual content, language and some drug use.
