Because we only review G, PG, and PG-13 movies at Parent Previews we did not review this title. For your convenience, we have provided some brief information about the film’s synopsis and content.
Synopsis:
Mild mannered Dave Lizewski (Johnson) fantasizes about being a super hero, so the teen dons a green suit and hits the streets (and the bad guys) with only a couple of baseball bats for weapons. When his heroics are broadcast over the Internet, other wannabe action figures decide to follow his example. Parents maybe concerned their youth may be similarly motivated.
Kick-Ass is rated R: for strong brutal violence throughout, pervasive language, sexual content, nudity and some drug use - some involving children.
Director: Matthew Vaughn
Cast: Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Chloe Moretz
Studio: 2010 Lionsgate
