Release Date: 10 July 2009

Because we only review G, PG, and PG-13 movies at Parent Previews we did not review this title. For your convenience, we have provided some brief information about the film’s synopsis and content.

Note: According to a news report by the BBC, Bruno was originally assigned an NC-17 rating by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America). This rating means anyone under the age of 17 years should not be admitted. (Click here to learn more about the MPAA’s NC-17 rating.) After re-editing and resubmission, the film received an R rating from the MPAA, meaning minors should be accompanied by an adult.

Synopsis: Sacha Baron Cohen stars as Bruno, a style-hungry fashion reporter. Judging by Cohen’s past work (which includes Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan), much of the storyline will be devoured by crude content and sexual jokes.

Studio: Universal Pictures

Cast: Sacha Baron Cohen

Spread the word… Do not watch Bruno! This movie should NOT be rated R, it should be rated X - Adult film.  It is pornographic with Male and Female nudity throughout film and extreme close-ups of the male.  Again this film is pornographic - beware!

I cannot agree more with aggiegirl. Bruno is absolutely not for anyone under 18. Extreme sexual displays between gay men, dominatrixes and continuous sexual humor. The movie is funny—but only if you have an extremely open mind and are difficult to offend.
