When Grace Cahill (Natalie Portman) learns she is a widow, she finds comfort in the arms of her brother-in-law (Jake Gyllenhaal). But that peace flees when she gets word from the military that her husband (Toby Maguire) is still alive, and the prisoner-of-war in Afghanistan is on his way home.
