I am a worried mom, of course but is this movie really OK for my 14 year old daughter? I am very afraid that my daughter will do drugs or commit suicide!? None of these reviews help.

There are no depictions of suicide or drug use in this film however if your teen is as “at risk” as you say I would suggest seeing the film first for yourself or going with her. The film is slightly better than others in the genre in that the female protagonist does continue to push for a relationship with her father even though the two of them highly disagree on how to deal with zombies. That being said it still is a dark “comedy” with some gory moments. Bottom line: No movie is worth your daughter’s mental health.
