brilliant film - but be careful - my nine yr old son who loves spiderman/priates of the carrabean/lord of the rings /terminator was really excited about watching the film - 12 yr old daughter (who is usually frightened of everything ) was ok with it but it was my son who got upset and scared -and ended up sitting in the kitched crying - but then wanted to come and watch again was ok to watch the end and was then happy -(the good guys win) explanations of ‘its not real’ seemed to do the trick - the film is so realistic though - i would say 12 plus at least - there are no light hearted comedy scenes and you couldnt really have them in this film anyway ( unlike terminator ect)which i would say put it for the older kids -
