I have to agree with Mommy Bear, although comparitively, the R-rated movies of today are much more graphic, coarse, etc. I think “Titanic” deservedly should have been rated “R” back when it was originally released. I think there were too many “gratuitously seedy scenes and language” that could have easily been omitted without missing a beat in the [fictious, especially] part of the story. Certainly the historical aspects did not require nudity or foul language.

I think this movie is rated incorrectly, as I think a lot of movies are. No one, even adults, should have to see nudity in a movie and should be warned with an R rating. This is a perfect example of why we need sites like this and Mommy Bear Media.
