This was a really good movie. Quite a bit of Sci-fi action violence, but nothing gory. Minimal sexual content and language as well. Some drinking, but it’s mostly comedic. Overall; Thor gets an A from me. Peace!

Shakespeare meets Tolkien meets Epic Adventure
“A Thunderous Adventure Takes Form on the new Marvel Release”
Director Kenneth Branagh takes a story of Norse Gods, sibling rivalry and a quest to understand humanity in the Marvel/Paramount release - “Thor.”
Chris Hemsworth offers a breakout performance as the fallen God of Thunder in an adventure that offers a decent balance of drama, action and humor. It does have its share of action, but not in the same way of a “Spiderman” or “Ironman.” It’s more in the form of a “Narnia” or “Rings.”
“Thor” is really a Character study that transcends the Superhero genre - I applaud Kenneth Branagh for his brilliance in taking on this chapter in the Marvel Universe. Later this summer we will be able to check out the first Avenger, ?Captain America? in theatres as well.
The supporting cast includes Academy Award winners Sir Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman.
“Thor” gets an “A” on my report card.
**A little trivia *Stay ?til the end of the credits for a tease for ?The Avengers? and also look for a cameo in the film of future ?Avenger? Hawkeye.
