AVOID THIS MOVIE!! Especially DO NOT bring children to it! Aside from the extremely over-sexualized and over-drugged first half of this badly written story, the special effects, though well-done, are quite disgusting and frightening for little minds.
Now, I love aliens-attacking-earth movies, but I am sorry I took my family to see this one!
The characters are all high-living low-lifes and it’s hard to empathize or care about them. The location never leaves the apartment building, so while you are anxiously awaiting the surviving characters to make an escape, be chased by the aliens, and make a brave stand to defeat them, suddenly the movie is over and you’re left asking, “That’s it??”
Go rent “Independence Day” for a much better, and much more upbeat, plot?with characters you can actually care about!
