This movie is absolutely stunning, its animation and the soundtrack are perfect. The characters are well developed as well. The story travels through some dark roads, but is ultimately filled with light. However, for younger children - beware, there are some scenes which are quite dark (massacre of townspeople by the Vikings) and others that are downright scary. I would recommend it for children 11 and up.
