This movie rating fails to mention that Freddie Krueger is a PEDOPHILE in this Remake. Hollywood has just EMPOWERED EVERY PEDOPHILE IN OUR NATION. If any youth in the viewing audience is being abused, after seeing this movie they will have a much harder time telling someone that they are being abused and stopping the abuse, because of the fear factor that this pedophile instills. Everything a pedophile threatens comes True in this film. I am an AMAC (Adult Abused As a Child). My predator is currently incarcerated and registered as a sex offender. I am also a pediatric nurse. This movie was alarming to me. I saw the first movie in 1984. I went with friends last night. I thought I knew what I was getting into by viewing this movie. The new twist of Having the villain be a Pedophile that reaches out from death to effectively kill the children that reported him in their youth and Kill their parent, is going to be a Very Powerful Tool for pedophiles across America if this is ever release for home distribution. Sadly Pirated copies will no doubt be used by a pedophile somewhere to torment and silence his (or even her) victims. I am so sad that “the horse is out of the barn” so to speak, and this movie has been released.
