Still shot from the movie: Jennifer’s Body.

Jennifer’s Body

Jennifer (Megan Fox) may be a sexy little thing, but it turns out her body is just big bait for the bad boys in town. Possessed by a demon with murderous intent, the high school cheerleader is literally a fatal attraction. Get the movie review and more. »

How We Determine Our Grades

InHizImage says: Oct. 09, 2009

Sadly, my husband and I decided to go see a movie while our kids went to the homecoming game. Not only did the visiting team go home disappointed, so did we.

We don’t mind “scary” movies to view (without our kids) on occasion and the local paper had given this one some hope as an original script (which is rare these days). The main character, Jennifer, basically is used in an occult ritual because she was believed to be a virgin; “not since middle school” says her best friend.
Due to her lack of virginity, the ritual backfires on the rock band that initiates the ritual in an effort to make it “big in the music world.” Megan Fox’s character spends the rest of the movie possessed by a demon, flirting with the boys she mocked pre-possession, eventually having sex with them to shred them to pieces and drink their blood for “power.”
Violent: 4 different boys bitten, clawed, chewed and spit out; stabbing; a bar fire with numerous patrons running out on fire, screaming
Sex: multiple sex scenes; a kiss between two girls- very explicit; suggested intimacy beneath covers; crude comments/suggestive material; Megan Fox unzips a top to partially reveal her breasts
Language: sexual innuendos; repeated use of vulgarity; numerous “f” and “s” words
Drugs/Alcohol: underage drinking

I don’t see “F” on here as a grade, but would give it an “F”. I’m saddened to see Megan Fox going down this road in her acting career.

Parents beware- not for children, not for adults
