How We Determine Our Grades

Why put a strip club scene in this movie? It would’ve been much more enjoyable and funny without it. It seemed oddly placed and awkward. This movie was enjoyable but when that scene came up it was uncomfortable to watch especially since I was there with my son. Ejaculate all over a kid’s pants? Not something you want to see when you’re sitting next to your son/mom.

The scene with Will Farrell was bit much too. I was excited when I saw his cameo appearance at first but the content of the dialog was just unnecessary. For guys who are so funny watching them go for the cheap laugh was, I think, degrading to their talent. It was basically like watching Will Farrell do a really bad Chris Rock impersonation. I mean anal sex? Really? Was that really necessary in a PG-13 movie?

The best thing about this movie (and I can’t believe I’m going to say this because admittedly I’m not his biggest fan) is Owen Wilson. He really did carry this movie.

I love Vince Vaughn and he didn’t disappoint in this movie but he didn’t excel either, he was “Vince Vaughn” that’s all.  I can’t say it’s one of those I’m looking forward to seeing again, once was enough for me and probably too much for my son.
