I am in total agreement with TNT. My family just saw it on video and all of us were in awe of how it all turned out in the end. Because I work in a library, I am asked about movies all the time. I have begun to highly recommend this movie with strong caution on the violence and language. I truly appreciate the strong message of the Power of God and His Word in this movie.

Just finished watching this. Wish I had something to bleep out the expletives so I could buy it. Not for kids, obviously (the violence as well as the language), but it left me wondering how the heck this made it through Hollywood! We kept expecting them to really twist the message. They could have several times. Usually you can’t even get someone to accidentally portray the Bible in a positive light without it ending up on the cutting room floor. We were pleasantly surprised by this movie. Even if they had removed the language and kept the violence off screen the implied situations (necessary for the time/place/reason for the story) may have still put it in the R rating but a little more Christian friendly drama. I’m still stunned this came out of Hollywood. It actually admitted to the Power of God’s Word. Go figure!
