The Proposal
Margaret Tate's (Sandra Bullock) work visa for the United Sates has just been denied, meaning she will be deported to her own country of Canada and lose her job as a publishing executive. Hoping to leap the immigration hurtle, Margaret claims to be engaged to her hen-pecked assistant (Ryan Reynolds).
