Why Is Just My Luck Rated PG-13?
Just My Luck is rated PG-13 for some brief sexual references.
Here is additional information on sex, violence and profanity in Just My Luck...
This lighthearted movie, which is played for laughs, presents its greatest content concerns in the areas of language and sensuality. A handful of moderate scatological profanities are heard, along with a few minor terms, including references to deity. Women are shown in low-cut dresses throughout and in underwear in one scene. At a large party, a silhouetted man and woman are depicted in the early moments of sexual relations and it is later discovered the man is a prostitute. Violence is limited to slapstick situations involving bad luck. Parents should also note the theme of the film depends on the belief of luck and fate. Advice is sought from a Tarot card reader and from horoscopes.
