The human iris is as unique a character trait as a person's fingerprints -- or so believes Ian Gray (Michael Pitt), a molecular biologist who studies such things. But his view of science (and possibly religion) changes when he discovers someone with identical eyes to his deceased wife (Astrid Bergès-Frisbey).
