Why is Transporter Refueled rated PG-13? Transporter Refueled is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for sequences of violence and action, sexual material, some language, a drug reference and thematic elements.

Violence: Violence in this movie is pervasive with conflicts between characters. People beat one another with pipes, tanks and other implements. Frequent use of guns with on-screen shootings. Some characters are shot repeatedly, with some blood and other detail shown. One extended fighting scene has men whipping other men with steel cables. A man is bound and hung upside down. Another is dangled from a cable around his neck that leaves him gasping for air. Two men are shot to death and their bodies, along with the already dead body of another person, are burned in a hotel room—we later see their very charred remains in a morgue. Many car chase scenes result in collateral damage with few consequences. One chase sees multiple police officers in cars and on motorcycles involved in serious collisions. Motorcycle drivers, after crashing their bikes, are seen skidding on asphalt at high speeds.

Sexual Content: The plot of the story involves women who were sold into prostitution as children. Sexual activity is implied. A brief scene shows two women in bed with a man—all are clothed. A man and woman begin removing clothing and embracing, we see them later together in bed. Women are frequently shown dancing in underwear to please men. Women frequently use sexuality as a tool to bait men. Men are frequently seen taking advantage of women.

Language: Infrequent use of scatological slang, profanity, cursing, and vulgar expressions. One term of Christian deity is used as an expletive.

Alcohol / Drug Use: Characters are frequently seen drinking and under the influence of alcohol. An unknown substance that induces sleep in placed in an alcoholic drink. A tank of medical sedative is hooked into a fog effects system at a dance club and causes a large crowd to become unconscious. Tobacco use is briefly portrayed.
