This movie (rated R in the United States) features explicit drug use, but also includes the graphic and dire consequences of such abuse along with a positive conclusion. Scenes show other secondary people using and under the influence of illegal substances. At least fifteen sexual expletives are used, some in a sexual context, as well as other mild and moderate profanities. There are some sexual interactions and dialogue within the context of a loving marriage relationship. A man is seen beating and kicking his wife, and another man is shot to death when he intervenes (some bloody details are seen). A woman grieves over the loss of her husband. One character smokes a cigarette during a stressful situation, while another—who is depicted as addicted to other harmful substances—smokes frequently. People drink socially.
