Hired as the new art history teacher, Katherine Watson (Julia Roberts) begins to challenge her female students (Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Ginnifer Goodwin) --not in art, but in the traditional roles of womanhood they have learned since childhood.
