Violence: Family members yell at each other on several occasions and there is some shoving and pushing. A young girl is lost outside in the dark and cold. A character’s death is discussed. Teen boys tease and bully other characters. A teacher badgers a student and later gets into a scuffle with him. A teen punches a mall Santa. Characters fight in a store. Hockey players tussle on the ice.

Sexual Content: Characters talk about a teenager’s sexual activities. A man makes a move on a fellow teacher. Characters discuss a past affair. Some crude comments are made.

Language: The script contains a couple of scatological slang terms and about a dozen mild profanities and terms of Deity.
