Why is Lucky You rated PG-13? Lucky You is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for some language and sexual humor
Depicting the world of professional gamblers, this movie follows the glamour of high stakes poker and the addictive pull of the game. In order to have money to play, Huck lies, borrows and steals. Other characters are portrayed as willing to put money on anything, including sports and taking silly bets—one male character has breast implant surgery in order to win money (his feminine-looking chest with protruding nipples is shown in a tight tee-shirt). A couple exchanges kisses and it is implied that they have a sexual relationship (they are shown in bed together the next morning). To encourage the payment of a debt, a man is roughly treated—his scraped and bruised face is shown. Characters are seen drinking socially. A few mild and moderate profanities are uttered.
