Why is The Love Punch rated PG-13? The Love Punch is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for some sexual content, language and rude humor.
Violence: A woman repeatedly hits a man with a bouquet of flowers. A woman fires a gun in a restaurant. Characters commit white-collar crime. Characters drug and tie up several people. Characters are bound, slapped and threatened with garden shears. A man intends to kill characters by pushing them over a cliff in a car. Adults ask their young adult son to hack into secure company websites.
Sexual Content: A man talks about his young lovers. A young adult male looks at a porn magazine while masturbating. A man has a picture on his phone of a woman with partially exposed breasts. A woman accidentally breaks off the penis of a naked ice statue. An older woman appears to have sex with her younger lover.
Language: The script contains two strong sexual expletives, crude sexual terms and other innuendo. As well, repeated scatological slang, mild profanities, crude cultural slang and terms of Deity are used.
Alcohol / Drug Use:Characters frequently imbibe alcohol in social settings or at home. One character wants a drink to deal with loneliness and another drinks to deal with financial problems. After repeatedly consuming alcohol on the job, a man drinks while driving. Characters are drugged. A man smokes a cigar.
