Why is Conversations With God rated PG? Conversations With God is rated PG by the MPAA for thematic elements, some language and a brief accident

In this movie recounting the life of Neale Donald Walsch, author of the inspirational books titled Conversations With God, the hopelessness of homelessness is depicted. Other content concerns include an automobile accident (the impact of an oncoming car is briefly shown), slight sexual innuendo, mild profanities and some terms of deity used as expletives. An alcoholic character is seen drinking from a bottle, and shown passing out from drunkenness. A couple of scuffles break out during disagreements and homeless people are treated with disrespect.
